Overview:
This teaching position is responsible for the early education of children in the Daisy Preschool program. This preschool was designed by an Occupational Therapist and focuses on developmental needs as a priority before academic achievement.
Duties and responsibilities include: delivering interactive learning programs designed to engage and educate young children ages 2-5. Various teaching methods and techniques for this program are needed, like storytelling, games, music and art to teach kids basic social skills and learning concepts. Also, educate students on how to follow daily routines and how to practice proper hygiene. Responsible for demonstrating how students should follow rules of the classroom and respect others. This position will also implement coordinating the children’s schedules to ensure they have a proper balance of education, play time and rest.
