We are KidSpace, a fast-growing pediatric therapy center specializing in Occupational, Physical, and Speech therapy. Our focus is to provide compassionate care, while creating a fun and playful environment where children can grow and learn. Our Miami Lakes office is looking for an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our growing team.

Job Responsibilities:

***Please Note***

. Expectations for this role may include providing treatment at patient's home, school setting as well as providing treatment in the clinic.

· Producing daily electronic progress notes

· Carrying out individualized treatment plans that address specific functional needs

· Ability to collaborate with other disciplines on best practices to improve progress for patient/child.

- Willing to travel to multiple locations (schools, daycares, clinic) in the area.

Job Requirements:

· State of Florida (DOH) license

· Level II Background Screening fingerprints

· One-year experience in a pediatric setting (preferred)

Skills:

· Understanding of handling and responding to Autism and ADHD behaviors

· Have a caring and nurturing demeanor

· Ability to collaborate with other disciplines on best practices to improve progress for patient/child.

· Detail oriented

· WILLING TO COMMUTE - THIS IS MOSTLY FOR SCHOOL SETTING

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

License/Certification:

• Occupational Therapy Assistant License (Required)
• COTA (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
