OTC Markets Group Inc., operator of premier US financial marketplaces, is seeking an Issuer Services Intern to join our Issuer Services Department for a paid internship this summer. This position is scheduled to start on June 17, 2024, and terminate on August 16, 2024.

Please note OTC Markets is currently operating in a hybrid work environment (three days in office, two days remotely).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The intern will work with both the Issuer Qualifications and Market Surveillance teams, assisting with making various compliance determinations and ongoing monitoring, as well as data quality verifications and background checks.
• Assist with monitoring ongoing compliance with qualifications and marketplace rules and determining deficiencies.
• Training will be provided by our compliance analysts for each aspect of the internship. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• The candidate should have a basic understanding of the financial markets and ability to conduct research and fact-finding.
• Collaborative.
• Team player.
• Background or interest in Economics, Finance, Business, or Accounting
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

This is a paid opportunity: $25/hour.
