Position Overview: We seek a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at OTC Industrial Technologies. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment and systems. Your responsibilities will encompass various maintenance tasks, from servicing and troubleshooting to delivering expert technical advice. We are looking for a self-motivated and technically proficient individual committed to providing high-quality work and promoting a positive image of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and other related rotating equipment, following best practices and safety guidelines.
- Failure Analysis: Provide detailed failure analysis and equipment/system recommendations to enhance reliability and performance.
- Documentation: Complete comprehensive work reports, including work performed, parts used, and other necessary paperwork.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure your service vehicle is adequately equipped with the necessary tools and parts to facilitate efficient equipment servicing according to factory-approved methods.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED degree.
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a Maintenance Tech or Field Service Tech; prior experience with field installations and repairs is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude to use shop equipment and the ability to use precision equipment.
- Ability to read and understand dimensional exploded view, and cut section drawings and blueprints.
- Must be physically fit and able to stand and walk for at least 8 hours daily, lifting 70 lbs.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and pass a Motor Vehicle Check.
