The primary responsibility of the Facilities Specialist is to operate, monitor and support the physical facilities conditions at multiple Ideal Nutrition locations. This includes heating and cooling of air and water, power supply, generators, electrical distribution and control and monitoring systems. This is a hands-on position and will regularly help inspect, maintain and repair various physical issues in each facility.

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Regular maintenance and repair of physical facilities to ensure the infrastructure operates efficiently
• Drafts and maintains preventative maintenance schedule for equipment and facility systems
• Skilled work in the repair, replacement and refinishing of equipment and systems such as electrical services, HVAC services, plumbing services and general facilities repairs as needed
• Coordinate with outside vendors as needed

Requirements:

• 3 years of general maintenance experience with vocation training or apprenticeship in a related field.
• Knowledge of meters, devices, sensors, and troubleshooting utilizing standard hand tools, digital metering or calibration/diagnostic equipment
• Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to work independently
• Basic computer skills including google suite experience
• Physical requirements include: ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, crawl into tight spaces, ability to stand for long periods of time and work in a cold environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
