Job description

The Printing Lead is responsible for managing the incoming workload of label printing jobs and delivering high quality labels to Vox’s Manufacturing Areas and to Vox’s Customers.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Providing direction, training, and encouragement to all printing department team members.
• Organization of Work Orders – Delegation of jobs, scheduling, and status updates.
• Coordination of employee schedules to ensure efficient labor utilization, this includes the management of employee timecards.
• Clear communication with management and adjacent departments.
• Maintenance of ERP system (Data Ninja) and supplemental resources.
• Implementation of process improvements.
• Inventory Management.
• Providing support to the Quality and Design Departments throughout the printing process.
• Process Mapping to ensure common understanding of printing workflow.
• The operation, cleaning, and general maintenance of the following machines:
• Epson Surepress L-6534VW – Color Label Press
• GM 330 Mini - Finishing System
• Primera FX1200 – Digital Finishing System
• Primera FX1000 - Matrix Removal System
• Primera CX1200 – Color Label Press
• Epson TM-C750 – Inkjet Label Printer

Qualifications:

• Ability to navigate computer programs.
• Able to lift at least 45 pounds several times per day.
• Able to communicate effectively in English. Spanish is a PLUS.
• Able to identify and distinguish colors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
