Nursing Unit Secretary jobs in New York
Nursing Unit Secretary provides secretarial support for all employees within an assigned nursing unit. Maintains and updates patients' records for a given unit. Being a Nursing Unit Secretary performs administrative activities in compliance with all regulations. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Nursing Unit Secretary typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Nursing Unit Secretary works under moderate supervision. The Nursing Unit Secretary is responsible for managing clerical functions, coordinates with departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to maintain a unit that is hygienically safe and functional.
