We are seeking an RN Weekend Supervisor to join our team. As a Weekend Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing operations during the weekend shifts. This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our facility.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff during weekend shifts
- Provide guidance, support, and training to team members
- Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing feedback and addressing any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to ensure seamless communication and coordination across all shifts
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations
- Assist in resolving resident complaints or issues that may arise during the weekend shifts
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
- Flexibility to work weekends and potentially cover other shifts if needed
Skills:
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of sonography or sterile processing is a plus
- Familiarity with Cerner or other healthcare software systems
- Nurse management or pain management experience is beneficial
- Experience working with children is desirable
- Understanding of utilization review processes
- Proficiency in taking vital signs
