Nursing Supervisor jobs in Tennessee

Job duties will include:

• Assisting with recruitment of clinical laboratories to participate in CDI

• Processing laboratory reports of potential CDI cases within a defined catchment area to determine which

cases meet the case definition

• Conducting medical chart abstractions and completing the case report form (CRF), per CDC guideline

• Entering data into CDC’s case management and case detection system in a timely manner

• Completing requested chart re-abstractions for selected cases, per CDC guideline

• Performing project management support for other projects, within the PHNCs current skillset, as requested

• Participating in professional development activities.

Public Health Nurse Consultant 2 Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in nursing and experience

equivalent to four years of full-time increasingly responsible professional nursing work

Desired Qualifications:

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Experience in data collection, analysis, report writing and data presentation

• Experience in research protocol development and execution

• Experience in nursing clinical settings.

• Experience in informatics and data management

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
