We are seeking a Weekend Supervisor to join our team. As a Weekend Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and providing leadership during weekend shifts. This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our organization and delivering high-quality care to our patients. Will do 12 hour shifts at times.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff during weekend shifts
- Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and quality standards
- Monitor patient care and provide guidance to staff as needed
- Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
- Conduct regular rounds to assess patient needs and address any concerns or issues
- Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards of practice
Skills:
- Proficient in catheterization procedures
- Ability to accurately measure vital signs
- Experience in health coaching and patient education
- Strong team management skills
- Knowledge of discharge planning processes
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation procedures
- Experience in memory care is a plus
- Knowledge of ophthalmology practices is a plus
- Proficiency in Epic or other electronic medical record systems
- Strong case management skills
