Nursing Services Instructor jobs in Tennessee
Nursing Services Instructor is responsible for identifying training needs and planning, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of staff development programs within an assigned area of responsibility. Coordinates in-service training, continuing education, orientation, competency reviews, and other related training functions. Being a Nursing Services Instructor ensures compliance with all State and Federal guidelines for in-service education and new employee orientation. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Additionally, Nursing Services Instructor requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Nursing Services Instructor occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Administrative Director for Surgical Services. This leadership role involves strategic planning, resource management, and fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration in a 270 bed hospital near downtown Chattanooga.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
- 3 years of experience in surgical services; leadership experience highly valued.
- Active RN license, CNOR and CSSM certifications preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and hands-on engagement skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the surgical services department, including 6 operating rooms.
- Ensure high-quality patient care, compliance with regulations, and fiscal management.
- Cultivate strong relationships with medical staff and community.
- Implement strategies for service line growth and operational excellence.
