Nursing Services Instructor jobs in Paterson, NJ
Nursing Services Instructor is responsible for identifying training needs and planning, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of staff development programs within an assigned area of responsibility. Coordinates in-service training, continuing education, orientation, competency reviews, and other related training functions. Being a Nursing Services Instructor ensures compliance with all State and Federal guidelines for in-service education and new employee orientation. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Additionally, Nursing Services Instructor requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Nursing Services Instructor occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Job Requirements:
- A Master’s degree in Nursing (doctoral preferred) and three years’ clinical experience in Maternal/Child

- A willingness to travel and teach at off-site clinical facilities
- An ability to teach classes during the day, the evening and/or the weekend
- Experience using technology and interactive electronic materials to support teaching and learning
- Experience using a Learning Management System such as Canvas
