Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients
- Develop and implement care plans and systems to meet the individual needs of patients
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate and provide comprehensive care
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including shift management and scheduling
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Stay up-to-date with medical advancements, new treatments, and changes in regulations related to nursing administration
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license in the state of employment
- Proven experience in nursing administration or a similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, care plans, and systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
