Nursing Home Director jobs in Doylestown, PA
Nursing Home Director directs and conducts the day-to-day activities of the nursing home in accordance with established policies. Implements changes to improve nursing home and reviews ongoing activities. Being a Nursing Home Director communicates with patients to ensure quality care. May require an advanced degree. Additionally, Nursing Home Director typically reports to top management. The Nursing Home Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Nursing Home Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. - Being knowledgeable of incidents at the facility
- Assessing the health needs of each resident
Requirements of the Director of Nursing:
- Must have PA Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Must have previous experience as a Director of Nursing
- Must have experience working in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Must have management experience
