Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing care within our organization. This is a leadership role that requires strong managerial skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Duties:
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care
- Supervise and manage a team of nurses, ensuring adequate staffing levels and appropriate skill mix
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, promoting professional development and continuous learning
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, including HIPAA and Medicare guidelines
- Oversee the coordination of home health services, hospice care, and other specialized programs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Stay current with advancements in nursing practice, medical technology, and healthcare regulations

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of home health, hospice care, and medical terminology
- Proficient in developing and implementing care plans for patients
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to manage a diverse team of nurses
- In-depth understanding of physiology and the ability to apply this knowledge in clinical practice
- Familiarity with Medicare guidelines and reimbursement processes
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the ability to ensure compliance

Pay: $67,173.88 - $80,897.56 per year
