Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) jobs in North Dakota
Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) directs and conducts the activities of the hospital's nursing home in accordance with established hospital policies. Recommends changes to improve nursing home and reviews ongoing activities. Being a Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) communicates with patients to ensure quality care. May require an advanced degree. Additionally, Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) typically reports to top management. The Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. BLNRC is seeking a Full-Time Director of Nursing (DON). Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program and currently licensed in North Dakota as a Registered Nurse (RN). Ideal candidate would have training/experience in geriatric nursing and previous supervisory experience. Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and have a desire to work with the aged as well as the team of nurses, CNA's, and all other departments here at Bethel.
Status will be salaried/exempt.
