Additionally, Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) typically reports to top management. The Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     Director of Nursing Job Requirements 
    • Medicare Home Health leadership experience.
    • A Registered Nurse is required.
    • Excellent understanding of state/federal Home Health regulations, OASIS, and PDGM.

    Director of Nursing Job Responsibilities 
    • Manage the day-to-day clinical operations.
    • Ensure compliance with all state / federal regulations. 
    • Hire, train, mentor staff.
