Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations within the facility
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure quality patient care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate and deliver comprehensive care plans
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
- Manage and maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Advocate for resident rights and promote a safe and supportive environment
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations
- Coordinate and oversee hospice care services for eligible residents
- Ensure the provision of high-quality care in assisted living settings
- Manage shift schedules and staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage
- Monitor and manage Medicare billing processes
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license (RN or BSN) in the state of {location}
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, regulations, and best practices
- Familiarity with medical records management and electronic health record systems
- Excellent clinical skills and ability to provide direct patient care as needed
- Knowledge of resident rights and commitment to upholding ethical standards
- Ability to effectively communicate with doctors, nurses, staff, residents, and families
- Experience managing hospice care services is highly desirable
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
