Nursing Education Director leads and directs the overall planning, development, and administration of nursing education programs. Oversees the design and implementation of curriculums to train and update skills and knowledge of in-service nurses. Being a Nursing Education Director evaluates the department's performance and ensures that all federal and state regulatory requirements are met. Requires a master's degree in nursing. Additionally, Nursing Education Director requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to senior management. The Nursing Education Director manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a Nursing Education Director typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience. Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON):
This position reports directly to the Director of Nursing.
Essential Job Functions:

Benefits: Paid Vacation: 14 days paid vacation annually, eligible after 6 months FT work.
Paid Sick Leave: 1 hours of paid sick time off per every week.
Benefits eligible after 3 months FT work: Medical insurance, 401K.
Schedule: Office Hours: Monday- Friday 0800-1630.
This position is apx 50/50 in the field and the office
On-Call rotation.
