Nursing Education Director jobs in Ohio
Nursing Education Director leads and directs the overall planning, development, and administration of nursing education programs. Oversees the design and implementation of curriculums to train and update skills and knowledge of in-service nurses. Being a Nursing Education Director evaluates the department's performance and ensures that all federal and state regulatory requirements are met. Requires a master's degree in nursing. Additionally, Nursing Education Director requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to senior management. The Nursing Education Director manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a Nursing Education Director typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience. NOW HIRING: Director of Nursing (DON)
Responsibilities Include:
- The primary purpose of your job position is to direct the clinical aspect of the nursing home facility in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and may be directed by the Administrator, the Medical Director.
- Services, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- RN in OH
- DON experience necessary
- Must have ADON or Supervisory experience in LTC/SNF
- Interest in the geriatric population
