We're seeking a facility educator to ensure our team is well-versed in current standards of care across the entire facility!
The ideal candidate is a teacher, mentor and coach. Organization is paramount, as the Education Director is responsible to ensure each teammate's educational record is complete and current.
The Education Director runs the facility's General Orientation program and performs competency evaluations for all new clinical staff and (and annually thereafter near anniversary dates).
A Registered Nurse (or higher) is required. Experience in teaching is preferred.
The Education Director is the centerpiece of the facility's QAPI program, continuously assessing and re-educating front-line and management staff on best practice, quality improvement and customer service.
This is a Salaried (Exempt) position and is a part of the on-call rotation (every 7-8 weeks) for after-hours management calls. Floor pick-ups are also assigned & available for Overtime or Schedule Flexing (teammate's option). The teammate has the option of working either 5 eight our shifts or 4 ten-hour shifts, with flexibility as appropriate to meet the needs of the team.
