JOB DESCRIPTION:

As the Coordinator of Related Services, you will oversee occupational and speech therapy programs along with the transition, and counseling programs within our educational institution. Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining excellent attendance and adhering to the contractual work schedule.
• Assuming primary responsibility for all aspects of related services including the coordination of scheduling, transition services, including participation in IEP and transition meetings, and developing comprehensive transition plans with related services input.
• Interacting with staff, parents, and outside agencies to facilitate related services programs and goals.
• Coordinate all in-school activities for related services including regular communication with staff regarding the needs of students.
• Implementing programs to promote improvement in executive functioning skills of all students.
• Regularly educating staff in student profiles and needs with strategies to support teaching and learning.
• Undertaking additional responsibilities promoting student welfare and safety, including assisting with transportation and lunchtime supervision.
• Being knowledgeable in social decision-making, problem-solving curriculum, and social-emotional programs.
• Participating in professional development programs and staying current on educational and behavioral strategies.
• Maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Collaborating with other professional staff members to support student success.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Principal.
