Nursing Education Coordinator designs and conducts educational programs for nursing staff. Coordinates orientation programs for new staff members, develops programs to keep existing staff up-to-date, and acts as general resource for nursing personnel. Being a Nursing Education Coordinator evaluates the program results and competencies of nursing staff. Typically requires a bachelor's degree of nursing. Additionally, Nursing Education Coordinator typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires RN license. The Nursing Education Coordinator contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.     *Family-friendly, flexible, and complements a busy schedule (10-20 Hours/Month) This is an independent contractor position. The majority of your work will be from home and on your own schedule.

    What does a Local Coordinator do?

    * Works closely with exchange students, host families, and local high schools including monthly oversight of the exchange student and conducting orientations

    * Receives full training, teaching and ongoing support from the management team

    * May be involved in the recruitment of volunteer host families for our international high school students

    Qualifications:
    * Ability to problem solve and support students and host families during the students' program

    * Self-motivated, organized, well-networked within the community

    *Driver’s License and transportation

    *Ability to pass a Background Check

    * Recruitment skills with the ability to screen potential leads (Nice-to-have)

    Compensation is dependent upon recruitment efforts and student oversight. **This position provides supplemental income ONLY**
