Nursing Education Coordinator - Home Care is responsible for identifying training needs and planning, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of staff development programs within the home care specialty. Coordinates in-service training, continuing education, orientation, competency reviews, and other related training functions. Being a Nursing Education Coordinator - Home Care ensures compliance with all State and Federal guidelines for in-service education and new employee orientation. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Additionally, Nursing Education Coordinator - Home Care requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Nursing Education Coordinator - Home Care work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     HOW YOU WILL SHINE:

    As the Nursing Home Administrator, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards and regulations, and in accordance with Windsor’s policies and procedures to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times. You will also be responsible for creating an environment that engages and motivates staff to give their best each day while providing the highest level of care.

    The must haves:

    • Current unencumbered Federal and State Nursing Home Administrator’s license
    • 2-4 years’ previous experience in long term care environment, preferably as Administrator or Assistant Administrator
    • Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
    • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college

    • Experience with older adult population
    • Documented successful track record indicating a working knowledge of State and Federal regulations relating to nursing homes based on past Department of Health Services survey results
    • Specialization in healthcare administration or business administration
    • Creative problem-solving skills
    • Strong communication skills
    • Sufficient computer skills

    CALIFORNIA PAY TRANSPARENCY STATEMENT 

    Compensation for roles at Windsor Monterey Care Center varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by state or local law, Windsor Monterey Care Center provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Windsor Monterey Care Center reasonably expects to pay for roles that may be hired in California as stated below:

    Pay range: starting at $155k and up.
