Scheduler/Client Care Coordinator

Safe Harbor Home Care was founded in order to assure that quality non-medical in-home care was available throughout San Diego County. We assist our clients with their activities of daily living. We also connect our clients and their families with valuable resources in the community.

Scheduler Job Responsibilities:

• Answers phones and emails, schedules and confirms appointments, and inputs client and employee data into WellSky.

• Organizes workflow and appointment by reading and routing correspondence, collecting client and employee information, and managing assignments.

• Signing clients, providing initial assessment, and creating a care plan.

• Performing the initial caregiving shift or a reassessment shift in order to expand on the care plan.

• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.

• Provides historical reference by utilizing WellSky.

• Checking for missing clock-ins and clock-outs.

• Work on open shifts calendar, filling in open shifts.

• Covering shifts when urgently necessary.

• Contact caregivers for availability updates. See how many hours they’re looking for and if they’re ok and still want to work.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• Registered as an HCA with the state of CA.

• Caregiving experience.

• WellSky experience.

• Previous administrative experience preferred.
