Qualifications:
· Current RN licensure in the state of MN; will help get MN license if from surrounding state.
· Infection preventionist training and/or certification-we will help obtain
· Knowledge and understanding of skilled payors/insurances including Medicare, Medicare replacement, MSHO and private
· Knowledge and understanding of Case Mix System, Minimum Data Set (MDS) process, care planning system and general resident assessment requirements.
· Strong nursing assessment skills
· Basic computer skills: Matrix software knowledge is a plus
· The ability to communicate effectively with all team members
· Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
· Must be in good mental and physical health and have a genuine concern for the elderly
· Be able to make sound decisions
· Experience in long term care preferred
· Knowledge in infection control practices
· Required to understand nursing floor duties and medication pass knowledge
Work Schedule:
· Monday through Friday primarily day hours with the ability to be flexible in hours
·Fulltime 64-80 hours per pay period. .
