Nursing Education Coordinator - Home Care is responsible for identifying training needs and planning, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of staff development programs within the home care specialty. Coordinates in-service training, continuing education, orientation, competency reviews, and other related training functions. Being a Nursing Education Coordinator - Home Care ensures compliance with all State and Federal guidelines for in-service education and new employee orientation. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Additionally, Nursing Education Coordinator - Home Care requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Nursing Education Coordinator - Home Care work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     Our Seattle branch services Seattle proper, Edmonds, Lynnwood, West Seattle, South Seattle, Shoreline and nearby surrounding areas! Our needs are ever-changing. We are currently looking for caregivers who can transport clients and have general daytime availability. HCA/CNA is a huge plus! We do not currently have a need for live-in or nighttime care and cannot consider candidates who do not drive at this time.

    Caregiver Job Duties 
    Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to): 
    • Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.) 
    • Cooking and/or serving meals 
    • Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom 
    • Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies 
    • Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments 
    • Monitoring and reporting on their condition 
    Additional Information 
    • Our hiring process is fast and simple! Apply and the recruiter in your region will connect with you to schedule a phone interview. If hired, you will be scheduled for orientation at your branch. Once you have completed onboarding, orientation, and training, you can start working with clients! 
    • If you do not have a current HCA or CNA license, you will be required to enroll in our HCA training program we offer (due to state requirements). You will be able to complete the training while working and will have 120 days to complete it.
    • Pay range is $20-$28/hr
    Requirements 
    • 18 years  
    • Ability to pass a state and national background check 
    • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record 
    • Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed
