Nursing Director - Nursing Home administers the nursing program in a nursing home in order to maintain standards of patient care. Advises management, patient care staff and administrators in matters related to nursing service. Being a Nursing Director - Nursing Home recommends establishment or revision of policies and develops organizational structure and standards of performance. Interprets policies and objectives of nursing service to staff and community groups. Additionally, Nursing Director - Nursing Home typically requires an advanced degree of nursing. Typically reports to top management or a facility administrator. Requires RN license. The Nursing Director - Nursing Home typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. We are seeking dependable, dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team! You will be responsible for delivering high quality care to a patient.Responsibilities:
- Under direction of RN, administer skilled nursing care for patient on G-Tube and vent.
- Assist the RN in carrying out the plan of care.
- Complete appropriate documentation in a timely manner.
- Provide effective communication to patient/family, team members and other third party payer.
- Promote agency philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
Qualifications:
- Graduated an accredited school of vocational nursing.
- Have a Texas State License as a LVN.
- Pass background check.
- Is certified in CPR and has TB shot.
- Able to lift up to 40lbs-80lbs.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 36 per week
