Continuum Pediatric Nursing Services – one of the nation’s foremost providers of pediatric private duty skilled nursing services - is currently searching for a Director of Nursing with supervisory/management experience, preferably in a home health setting, for our new office we will be opening in the Detroit, MI area. Founded in the early ‘90s on the belief that many institutionalized children could benefit greatly from highly skilled, shift-based in-home nursing, Continuum has been at the forefront of a nationwide movement that recognizes that for many young patients, the nurturing support of family and familiar surroundings is critical to their long-term emotional and physical well-being. The Director of Nursing manages all office operations other than the payroll and billing functions of the branch. Working with a dedicated and experienced team of caring professionals, the selected professional will oversee clinical and administrative operations for the region, with ultimate responsibility for the quality and appropriateness of all services delivered. The Director of Nursing reports to the National Director of Nursing and works closely with the National Administrator, Corporate Compliance Officer, and Director of Finance. Some of the specific areas of daily responsibility include:
Management of all clinical staff directly or through designated Assistant Directors of Nursing
For consideration candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications:
Minimum of at least 3 years of nursing experience, including at least 12 months of experience in a management role. Home Health experience is a plus.
