High Level Overview * Candidate will be an organized task manager for admissions to the facility and team support. We are interested in speaking to individuals who want to help provide high-quality care to our guests and families. * 131-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center is currently in search of a passionate individual who is a self-motivated, a team player and experienced to fill the role of Admissions Director. * The Director of Admissions leads admission activities, census growth, and internal marketing functions. Looking for an energetic, multi-tasking individual who can develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, professionals, and community referral sources. Primary Responsibilities * Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care required * Obtain authorization from managed care payors * Manage the inquiry process from start to finish * Ensure admission documents are properly filled out and input into the system. * Understand basic clinical terminology * Participate in meetings to alert appropriate staff members of projected admissions, room changes, discharges and appointments/tours. * Knowledge of Allscripts, PCC and basic computer skills.
