Riverpointe Post Acute is a skilled nursing facility with 112 beds located in Carmichael, CA. We strive to be the premier provider of skilled nursing and rehabilitation services in the greater Sacramento area. We are looking for a committed, caring, and reliable Director of Nursing, DON to join our team for our Skilled Nursing Facility!

• Pay Range: $160,000-$180,000 Annually

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement standards and protocols for nursing care in the facility
• Oversee the hiring, training, and evaluation of nursing staff
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of care for residents
• Manage the budget and resources allocated to the nursing department
• Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in the development and implementation of care plans
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to nursing care
• Foster a positive and supportive work environment for nursing staff

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing
• Valid RN nursing license in the state of California
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of skilled nursing facility regulations and best practices
• Proven ability to collaborate and build effective relationships with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively

EXPERIENCE:

• With Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care, experience is required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a nursing leadership role is required
• Experienced Director of Nursing (DON)
