Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our healthcare team. The Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing the nursing department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This is a leadership role that requires strong management skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to excellence in healthcare. Duties: - Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff, including nurses, nurse managers, and other healthcare professionals - Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards - Collaborate with other departments to coordinate patient care and ensure efficient operations - Manage staffing levels and schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal patient care - Develop and implement care plans for patients based on their individual needs - Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care provided, making recommendations for improvement as needed - Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with legal requirements - Stay up-to-date with advancements in medical technology, treatments, and best practices in nursing - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients - Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in complex patient cases Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred - Valid state nursing license required - Proven experience in nurse management or nursing administration role - Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and medical records management - Familiarity with Medicare regulations and reimbursement processes - Excellent leadership and communication skills - Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make critical decisions We offer competitive compensation packages including salary commensurate with experience. Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
