Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home jobs in West Virginia
Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home administers the nursing program in a nursing home in the absence of the Nursing Director. Oversees operations in order to maintain standards of patient care. Being a Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home advises management, patient care staff and administrators in matters related to nursing service. Assists in the establishment and implementation of policies and develops organizational structure and standards of performance. Additionally, Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home interprets policies and objectives of nursing service to staff and community groups. Typically requires an advanced degree of nursing. Typically reports to the Nursing Director. Requires RN license. The Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Certified Nursing Assistants
- Must be current and in good standing with the West Virginia Nurse Aide Registry
- If not currently registered in West Virginia, must be eligible for reciprocity
- Previous experience preferred but not necessary
Flexible Scheduling
- 8, 12, or 16 hour shifts available
- $3/$4 shift differentials for afternoon and evening hours and all weekend shifts
- Gift checks for shift pick up
Weekend Warrior
- Ability to be scheduled 16 hour shifts on Saturday's and Sunday's and be paid for a full 40 hours
