Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home administers the nursing program in a nursing home in the absence of the Nursing Director. Oversees operations in order to maintain standards of patient care. Being a Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home advises management, patient care staff and administrators in matters related to nursing service. Assists in the establishment and implementation of policies and develops organizational structure and standards of performance. Additionally, Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home interprets policies and objectives of nursing service to staff and community groups. Typically requires an advanced degree of nursing. Job Summary:
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) assists the Director of Nursing (DON) for the Nursing Home. As the ADON, she/he is the second in command of the nursing department. He/she will work closely with the DON to improve the quality of patient care and services provided by the team. In absence of the DON, he/she will oversee the entire team ensuring quality customer service and compliance with all federal, state and local rules and regulations, as well as the policies and procedures set by your employer.
