Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our ICU team. As an ICU Nurse, you will provide specialized care to critically ill patients in our intensive care unit. Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in monitoring and managing patients' conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Location: Austin, TX

Shift: 06:45 PM-07:15 AM

Start Date: 04/24/2024

Assignment Length: 13 Weeks

Job Type: Travel

Duties:

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, lab results, and other diagnostic information
• Administer medications, including intravenous medications and injections
• Assist with procedures such as spinal taps and ophthalmology exams
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care activities
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in critical care nursing practices

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

• Skills: RN CVICU
• 1-2 years min experience in cardiovascular ICU.
• Preferred skills: Immediate open heart recovery of CABG/valve surgeries, CRRT (Prismaflex), VA/VV ECMO, IABP (Maquet), Impella, HM3, Lumbar Drain/EVDs.
