    The Nurse Recruiter role is full cycle recruitment of CRSS nursing positions and building an ongoing pipeline for future needs. You will operate in a multi-dimensional capacity, balancing pipeline, strategy and tactical talent delivery.


    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Manage and analyze recruitment and retention data to lead the facility in the development of nursing workforce recruitment and retention strategies and initiatives.

    • Serves as a clinical advisor to Senior Leadership as it pertains to the nursing workforce planning.


    • Process the job requisitions and post jobs through applicant tracking, ministry website and various recruitment sources.


    • Responsible for assisting with determining job requirements/descripions and hiring profiles.


    • Design job descripions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements.


    • Screen and confirm applicant/candidate eligibility for hire, including forwarding applicant to the hiring manager and conduct employment offer.


    • Initiate contact with all possibly qualified candidates for scheduling of upcoming interviews / hiring events/ interview sessions; maintain company requirement for all communication with candidates.


    • Research, recommend, coordinate and participate in job fairs; makes public presentations at hiring events, organizations and schools through community recruitment initiatives.


    • Develop and maintain contacts with schools, groups, alumni groups, community programs and other public organizations to find and attract high volume of candidates.


    • Submit monthly, quarterly and annual recruitment KPI’s and analytics.


    Knowledge & Experience Requirements

    • BSN or LPN preferred and more than five (5) years of RN or LPN experience. Bachelor's degree in human resources management, or similar a plus.

    • 5-6 years of experience in nursing recruitment or similar role a plus.

    • Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter, MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and experience working with applicant tracking software.
    • Developing recruiting strategies to attract experienced hires in a variety of business and functional departments, including the nursing (senior living) industry.
    • Ability to embrace new technology and tools which are designed to improve the recruitment process.
    • Exceptional ability to screen candidates, compile shortlists and interview candidates.
    • Ensuring all appropriate sourcing strategies are utilized, including creative sourcing techniques.
    • Recommending and managing recruiting initiatives and special events to support the business.
    • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
    • Must be able to perform the physical/mental functions/requirements of the position.


    Pre-Employment Screening

    All candidates receiving an offer for employment will be required to submit to pre-employment screening. The screenings will include criminal background check and other background checks (as needed), drug screen, an employment and education or licensure/certification verification, and Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination. Various positions will require physical examination, Tuberculosis screening and Hepatitis A. All offers are contingent upon successful completion of required screening.
