Prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Women's Health assesses patient condition and may provide treatment using specialized medical equipment. Works in outpatient settings, responding to high patient volumes in short-term spans and dealing with unpredictable situations and issues. Follows established guidelines and protocols.
