Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care jobs in Pennsylvania

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive assessments of patients and establish medical diagnoses.

Order, perform and supervise diagnostic tests for patients.

Develop and implement treatment plan, including issuing orders to implement treatment plans.

Complete discharge summaries.

Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assessments

Prescribe medications and other treatments

Develop and implement patient care plans

Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families

Skills:

Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems, preferably

Strong discharge planning skills to ensure smooth transitions of care for patients

Ability to provide health coaching to promote patient wellness and disease prevention

Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) and its use in patient care

Pay: From $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 18 per week
