Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care jobs in Gainesville, FL

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner Physician Assistant to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses
• Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
• Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in ER or Urgent Care setting (at least 2 years experience)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Able to perform minor procedures such laceration repair, Abscess I&D , Joint Injections etc
• Candidates with prior experience in Medical Spa are preferred . Able to Inject Botox , Fillers and other minor Medical Spa related procedures (Preferred but NOT mandatory) 
• Credentials to perform DOT physicals (Preferred but NOT mandatory) 
• Past Sales Experience (Preferred but NOT mandatory)
