Digestive Care Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to serve as a licensed independent practitioner and would be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, evaluation, plan of care, and treatment of our patients.
What You Need for this Position:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- NP License in Indiana or ability to obtain Indiana License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Computer literacy with ability to learn new computer program quickly.
- GI Medical office experience preferred.
- Eligible for hospital privileges.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Sees patients in the clinic, hospital, or urgent care setting.
- Consults with physician as needed for optimum patient care.
- Develops and implements treatment plans.
- Orders diagnostic tests.
- Orders and interprets diagnostic tests relative to the patient’s needs.
- Prescribes appropriate medications and treatments.
- Collaborates with physicians and other nurse practitioners on patient care.
- Regular attendance is an essential part of this job.
