About us
Position is with Dutchess ACT Team of Rockland Psychiatric center. The ACT Team provides crisis intervention to adult individuals who are experiencing a mental, emotional or situational crisis. Assignment requires ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team. Additionally, team members will provide well visits, counseling, assessment and education to individuals, families and a network of community providers relevant to target population. Act Team services are primarily provided as outreaches into the community, e.g., in a patient’s home.

qualification_ New York State License and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse AND certification by the New York State Education Department in the Psychiatric specialty area to practice as a Nurse Practitioner.
