    Description

    Willapa Behavioral Health and Wellness is searching for a full time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner PMHNP,  to work on the Pacific Coast in Long Beach, WA. 

    Provide psychiatric diagnostic and evaluation,  medication management, referrals, and support for persons with mental health concerns. Work closely with  clinical therapists, and administrative multi-disciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.  Perform direct patient care in accordance with service excellence standards.  This position includes timely completion of clinical documentation, participating in treatment team meetings and occasional community meetings.  

    Site eligible for HRSA loan forgiveness program

    Salary:  $150,800 - $153,920

    Qualifications


    Minimum Qualifications:

    Experience is preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply and will be interviewed.

    A valid Washington State Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license must be in place prior to beginning medication management.

    Education Required:

    PMHNP or DNP    In psychiatry      

    Skills Required:

    • Able to maintain good rapport with staff members.
    • Demonstrated competency in working with a diverse population of adults/children.
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with the medical and/or nursing model and DSM diagnostics. 
    • Be able to maintain appropriate boundaries with consumers and staff and have sound judgment.
    • A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and fit to drive and retains qualifications to drive based on criteria set by WBH’s insurance vendor.
    • Able to drive in daylight, darkness, and typical Northwest weather conditions.
    • Meet the current Washington health care vaccination requirements for health care workers.
