Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - PMHNP
  • Mindful Therapy Group
  • Spokane, WA CONTRACTOR
  • Mental health clinicians in most settings are underpaid and overworked, and at Mindful Therapy Group we know that you deserve better and have the potential to do so.

Quality client care takes time, commitment, and the freedom to trust your clinical judgment. We have built a time-tested model of care where clinicians are in the driver’s seat, and can deliver a high level of quality care, while being paid what they’re worth, and have more time outside of their practice to take care of themselves.

As a private practitioner, our psychiatric prescribers benefit directly from their work, leading to a take-home income 2-3 times as much as in an agency setting. This allows them to work more efficiently, set their own treatment and follow-up cadence, and build a practice that works for them. With the support of our experienced provider support teams, clinicians are empowered to start their own practice and make that a reality.

As an independent clinician partnering with Mindful Therapy Group, you will receive fully comprehensive business support and insights, and a full suite of wrap-around services for your business, provided by real people who have helped hundreds of providers build successful practices in our model.

In addition to our standard administrative teams, our psychiatric prescribers also have access to curated administrative support through our Prescriber Liaison team. This team is trained in the needs and intricacies of prescriber practices and brings an additional layer of service and support to our clinicians.

    Services include:

    • A guided step-by-step process for building your business and preparing to practice.
    • Consistent in-depth practice consultation with a dedicated account manager to help you reach your goals and learn how to not only build a successful practice, but also prevent burnout, making quality care possible.
    • Paneling with major insurance payors in weeks, not months.
    • Insurance payor reimbursement negotiations and resulting rate increases are transparent, and directly passed on to you, the clinician (and are on average 20% higher than individual provider rates).
    • Billing and collections services provided by knowledgeable and skilled teams working on your behalf six days a week.
    • Inclusion in the Mindful Therapy Group branding and marketing, a premier mental health brand built over twelve years of collaboration and partnership with local healthcare organizations, individual providers, and a tremendous word of mouth presence.
    • Access to 11 office locations with a professional, modern aesthetic where you’ll be proud to host your clients. The use of our offices comes at no additional charge and includes a professional administrative team on-site to support with scheduling and client payments.
    • Community support through bi-weekly consult groups, quarterly practice management seminar series, and in-person community events.
    • Online courses developed over years of experience, to strengthen your practice and sharpen your skills, rooted in mindfulness and self-compassion.

In-person care makes a difference, and our office space is filling up fast. Dedicated, weekly office space is available on a first-come basis, so reach out early for priority access.

    Benefits:

    • Privately Owned and Operated by Clinicians for more than a Decade – Mindful Therapy Group was founded by clinicians, for clinicians, to help them move beyond oversized caseloads, insufficient income, and impending burnout. Our founders and chief executives are involved in daily operations and work tirelessly to improve the quality of services and satisfaction of our providers. They have worked in the trenches and founded Mindful Therapy Group to bring clients and providers together, and create greater access to mental health care. We do this by negotiating high insurance reimbursement rates, which allows us to serve everyday people who want to use their insurance for their mental health care.
    • Leadership with a Dedication to Service for Clinicians
    • Your Practice, Your Way – Set your own schedule and decide which clients you work with. You continue to evolve as a clinician, and so should your practice. With our tremendous stream of new clients (thousands per week), you can tailor your practice to what works for you.
    • Compassionate and Reliable Support Teams – Hands-on guidance as you start and run your practice, with an assigned account manager available for real-time support.
    • Experienced and Specialized Staff – Teams with years of experience managing billing, collections, and insurance credentialing while you focus on client care.
