Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric works in collaboration with physicians to manage care for patients in a pediatric setting. Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Requires a master's degree. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric requires Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.     Practice Highlights at Yakima Pediatrics:
    • PNP needed to provide primary health care and selective medical services/procedures to a pediatric/adolescent panel at our large, single specialty, outpatient clinic.  
    • Flexible F/T schedule with no call requirements. 
    • Expected volume of 18-20 patients p/d, after ramp up, to sustain our patient needs. 
    • Must have strong clinical training/experience to meet the needs of a complex pediatric patient population.
    • Integrated services including Primary Care Behavioral Health, and a Teen Health Clinic.
    • Working with, and sensitive to a marginalized patient population in a FQHC/CHC setting would be a plus.
    • Bilingual in Spanish would be a plus.
    • EMR: OCHIN EPIC.

    Qualifications:
    • ARNP, MSN required with Pediatric NP certification preferred. 
    • Strongly prefer a minimum of 3 years of experience working with a pediatric/adolescent patient population.
    • Current, unrestricted RN license.
    • WA License or the ability to obtain a WA license.
    • DEA certificate. 
    • Great peer references and in good standing.
    • Approved for credentialing with health plans, Medicare, Medicaid.

    • Area known for its wineries/vineyards, microbreweries, picturesque scenery with panoramic views of Mt. Adams and Mt.
