We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Pediatrics department. As a Registered Nurse in Pediatrics, you will provide specialized care to infants, children, and adolescents. Your role will involve assessing patients, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the well-being of our young patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans for pediatric patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Assist in procedures and treatments specific to pediatric patients
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their conditions and treatment plans
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records systems
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for pediatric patients
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
Experience:
- Valid Registered Nurse license
- Previous experience in Pediatrics or related field preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures specific to Pediatrics
- Proficiency in medication administration for pediatric patients
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong patient assessment skills
- Experience in an Emergency Room setting is a plus
