Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric works in collaboration with physicians to manage care for patients in a pediatric setting. Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Requires a master's degree. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric requires Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.     Summary:
    AllerVie Health is seeking a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our growing team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team. Allergy and Asthma experience a plus.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
    • Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
    • Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
    • Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
    • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
    • Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
    Required Skills and Abilities:
    • Ability to build rapport with patients
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong leadership qualities
    Education and Experience:
    • Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
    • Previous experience in nursing or other medical field
    Physical Requirements:
    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
    • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times
