Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric works in collaboration with physicians to manage care for patients in a pediatric setting. Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Requires a master's degree. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric requires Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.     Responsibilities:

    • Perform comprehensive pediatric assessments, including physical exams, medical history reviews, and developmental screenings.
    • Educate patients and families on acute/chronic illness management, prevention, and overall well-being.
    • Collaborate with pediatricians, nurses, and healthcare pros for top-notch care.
    • Stay updated on the latest in pediatric healthcare through ongoing learning.
    • Qualifications:
    • Master's/Doctorate in Nursing, Pediatric NP certification/Licensure.
    • Valid state NP license and Pediatric NP certification/Licensure.
    • CPR certification and state-required credentials.
    • Strong clinical skills in pediatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Teamwork mindset, compassion for kids and families.
    • Detail-oriented and organized.
