Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric jobs in Kingsport, TN

We are seeking a LPN or medical assistant for our office. Responsible for helping obtain vitals on patients and provide in office testing and vaccines and offer professional nursing advice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about health education and patient care, have prior experience with pediatric patients, and have the ability to think critically and respond quickly in emergency situations.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with patients to assess the state of their health.
• Assist patients in getting care from other medical professionals.
• Educate patients about ongoing treatment.
• Treat minor injuries and illnesses; administer medications, injections, minor procedures such as catheterization and draw blood.
• Document patient's medical history.
• Educate patients about ongoing treatment; administer medications, injections, and other treatments; clean and disinfect rooms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
