We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, you will provide primary care to infants, children, and adolescents, focusing on their physical, emotional, and developmental well-being. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for our pediatric patients.
Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments of pediatric patients
- Diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses and injuries
- Develop and implement treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions
- Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory tests and imaging studies
- Assist in the management of chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and obesity
Requirements:
- Valid license as a Nurse Practitioner
- Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Pediatrics
- Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
- Strong knowledge of family planning, pediatric hospital systems, medical records management, sonography, Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) system, durable medical equipment (DME), medical documentation, and specimen collection processing
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
