Position Summary:
The Strong Families Vermont (SFVt) Nurse Home Visitor is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing services to women and their families eligible for SFVt services. Nurse home visitors are responsible for maintaining the highest standards in clinical nursing practice and adherence to the Maternal Early Childhood Sustained Home (MECSH) model, and to policies, procedures, guidelines and standards. This is a grant funded position for one year at 32 hours weekly/ Five days a week.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
Two (2) years’ experience in maternal /child health, public health, home visiting or mental /behavioral nursing preferred
Experience in home health care setting preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Basic computer skills required and a working knowledge of medical terminology, electronic medical record preferred
Required Licensure/Certification Skills:
Registered Nurse - licensed in VT and NH
Current CPR required
